Drupal gets a new version with a new look

Today, Dries announced the official release of Drupal 4.5. Along with the new version, drupal.org got a face lift, a theme which takes advantage of some of the new Drupal features. New and updated features from Drupal 4.4.2 include:

  • Configurable menus
  • Multiple roles per user
  • Document/image uploads
  • Node-level permissions
  • Improved locale support
  • Anonymous comments
  • Theme system improvements
  • Customizable user profiles
  • Usability improvements
  • Performance improvements
