I just realized when I saw the following post from Scripting News in my feed, that RSS feeds will eventually carry ads as images. Embedded in the image in my aggregator is the picture of the ipod. At the first quick glance I wondered what an ipod picture would be doing here. So what if it were on advertisement (which it's not)?

Imagine. MSNBC puts out a feed, and each item has an image attached which is a small ad.

Can't see how business wouldn't try it.
