What are some of the potential differences between individual weblogs and community weblog? Idea for today:

With RSS feeds, trackbacks and blogrolls, are the connections that bloggers make across blogs more smart mob then virtual place? More like SMS/cell phone enabled individuals than collective groups? And exactly how is a smart mob defined as a community? (note: obviously, I need to read Rheingold's book, instead of relying on blog/media attention on the web for the smart mob definition).
